Course openDetails

Links golf on the Solent.Since 1885.

Eighteen tees, eleven greens, and a wind that has opinions about your club selection. Across the water, the Isle of Wight watches you take it on.

The course

Not nine holes played twice. Eighteen holes over shared ground.

Every hole here has its own tee. Seven greens do double duty — approached from two entirely different directions — and four holes keep a green all to themselves. The result is a true links of 5,810 yards, par 70, squeezed between Fort Monckton, the MoD fences and the beach at Stokes Bay.

It is tight, it is honest, and when the wind comes off the Solent it bites. Members wouldn’t have it any other way.
